The India Pavilion is one of the star attractions at Global Village every year. This year it will present itself for the 14th consecutive year and will be spread over a massive area of 12,000 sq. mtr. This award winning Pavilion portrays the rich and diverse view of India's culture and tradition through the various products displayed at the Pavilion. In short, more than trade participation, it provides the cultural exchange of India. the India pavilion is the optimum platform for selling and promotion of various products and services. It has been known to have one of the highest selling records at the Global Village.
With Chhattisgarh being the state theme last year, the facade was a huge replica of the famous Kawardha Palace, measuring an incredible 90 meter wide and 11 meter in height which was decorated with specifically crafted decorative lights flown in from Calcutta.
The India pavilion is the only pavilion which has its own stage with a seating capacity of about 15000 people. There would be a daily cultural program held every evening in which performers who have been especially flown down from various states of India will perform traditional dances.
